The Ijaw Youth
Council (IYC) has hailed the appointment of Prof. Pondie Kemebradikumo, as the
new managing director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
Briefing newsmen in
Yenegoa, the chairman Ijaw Youth Council Central Zone, Comr. Kennedy Olorogun
described the appointment as a “round peg in a round hole.”
He, however, urges
Ijaws irrespective of political lines to support him in achieving his mandate.
Olorogun also
commended President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing an Ijaw son as acting MD of
the board in line with the constitutional provisions of the board |||READ
